Directions

Holt Collier NWR is located in the Darlove, Mississippi area, about 29 miles southeast of Greenville, Mississippi, in the heart of Mississippi's Delta Region. From Greenville take Highway 82 east to Highway 61. Turn south (right) and proceed on Highway 61 to Avon Darlove Road. Turn east (left) and proceed on Avon Darlove Road to Darlove, Mississippi.
 

Points of Interest

Holt Collier NWR is located in the heart of Mississippi’s Delta Region. This Refuge is home to American alligators, migratory waterfowl and songbirds, wading birds, white-tailed deer, squirrels, rabbits, and many more species. Although there are no improved visitor facilities available at this time, visitors are welcome to walk along existing roads and trails. 
 

Know Before You Go

In the summertime, temperatures can be extreme! Be sure to bring plenty of insect repellent, drinking water, and sunscreen. Early morning and late afternoon are the best times to visit, especially during the summertime when temperatures are more moderate and wildlife is most active.
