Provides monthly statistics on the number of new privately owned housing units completed and under construction for United States and regions. The report includes both actual and seasonally adjusted estimates for units completed and under construction by number of housing units in structure. Comparative data are shown for earlier years. Quarterly statistics on characteristics of new housing appear in selected issues.
