This newsletter contains tactics, techniques and procedures from live-fire exercises conducted every month in the Mojave Desert. They were developed by the Live-fire Observer/Controllers at the National Training Center.

This newsletter is the primary source of tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) for soldiers and units deployed to Bosnia. It also serves as the baseline document for developing TTPs relating to Stability and Support Operations for other locations.
98-5 Rehearsals
This newsletter was developed simultaneously with Appendix G of FM 101-5, Staff Organization and Operations, May 1997. It reviews the doctrine with some specific techniques and procedures primarily developed, tested, and refined at the National Training Center, the Joint Readiness Training Center, and the Combat Maneuver Training Center.
