The Training Exercise Development System (TREDS) is a training exercise planning tool that was designed to save commanders' time. It was developed by the Program Manager for Combined Arms Tactical Trainer (PM-CATT) at PEO STRI. TREDS permits unit leaders, commanders, or trainers to efficiently allocate collective tasks, to be trained across multiple simulation environments (including Live), and to select, edit, and generate validated exercise scenario products that are designed to train chosen tasks.
