OVC's Mission
OVC provides leadership and funding on behalf of crime victims.

Federal Crime Victims Division
FCVD works to enable victims of federal crimes to participate fully in the justice process.

Special Projects Division
SPD establishes national-scope programs and develops initiatives that address major issues in the victim assistance field.

State Compensation and Assistance Division
SCAD administers formula grants for crime victim compensation and assistance programs.

Technical Assistance, Publications, and Information Resources Unit
TAPIR develops and disseminates training, technical assistance, and information resources that support victim service providers and allied professionals.

Terrorism and International Victims Unit
TIVU develops programs and initiatives to help victims of terrorism and mass violence and victims of transnational crimes.
