Pest Management Practices NASS

This annual report includes information on percent of acres and farms that used selected management practices to control crop pests such as insects, weeds, and diseases. The report is based on questions included in NASS's Fall Agriculture Survey, and data for this report are categorized into the pest management categories of prevention, avoidance, monitoring, and suppression. The report is organized by percentage of acres to which the pest management practice is applied and percent of farms using the specific practice at the U.S. and regional levels. The crops surveyed for pest management practices are: barley, corn, cotton, fruits and nuts, hay(alfalfa), hay (other), soybeans, vegetables, wheat, and other crops and cropland pasture.
