Section 302(e) of the Congressional Budget Act of 1974, as amended, provides that at any time after a committee reports its allocations such committee may report to its House an alteration of such allocations. This report is submitted pursuant to this section. On September 20, 2004, the Committee on the Budget filed a revised allocation (Congressional Record page S9380) reflecting an increase of $500,000,000 in budget authority and $250,000,000 in outlays, pursuant to section 312 of Senate Concurrent Resolution 95 (108th Congress) as made applicable to the Senate by section 14007 of Public Law 108-287 (118 STAT. 1014). Section 312 mandates an increase to the Committee's 302(a) allocation when certain conditions relating to funding of wildland fire suppression are met.
