Res. 638] The Committee on Rules, having had under consideration House Resolution 638, by a nonrecord vote, report the same to the House with the recommendation that the resolution be adopted. summary of provisions of the resolution The resolution waives all points of order against the conference report to accompany the bill (H.R. 4635) making appropriations for the Departments of Veterans Affairs and Housing and Urban Development, and for sundry independent agencies, boards, commissions, corporations, and offices for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2001, and against its consideration. The rule further provides that the conference report shall be considered as read.
